Brief Introduction
Sheila
Jaggard, Ph.D. is the founder of Ultimate Potential. Her overall
vision is to enhance the capacity of individuals, teams and
organizations to achieve their true, authentic potential. As
an agent of change and transformation, she sees her work in
the area of human and organizational development as pivotal
to realizing the ultimate potential in individuals. Through
her business, Dr. Jaggard works with individuals and organizations
to provide opportunities for personal and professional transformation.
With
over 20 years in the human service sector, she has been assisting
organizations to prepare and move through change. Prior to founding
Ultimate Potential, Dr. Jaggard held many management and executive
positions. She has been the Executive Director of a not-for-profit,
community-based, multi-service agency, a national hospital sales
representative for an international medical products firm, a
partner in a consulting firm, a clinical specialist in a large
tertiary care hospital and a member of a government research
group.
Her
leadership and ability to focus on organizational issues relating
to strategy, structure, culture and skills provides the opportunity
for highly leveraged outcomes for organizations and their leadership.
Of particular interest to her in the area of organizational
development is strategic organization development and the development
of human resource capacity.
As
a professional speaker, Dr. Jaggard has educated, entertained
and moved audiences on topics related to embracing change, leadership,
goal-setting, supervisory skill development and personal transformation.
As a consultant, she has worked with human service, manufacturing
and financial organizations. As a master trainer, Dr. Jaggard
has helped thousands of people increase their ability and willingness
to move through transition and embrace change. As a University
and College professor she works in the business departments
bringing a fresh and innovative style to learning. As an executive
coach, she has worked with professionals in the financial, insurance,
human services fields as well as with doctoral students.
Dr.
Jaggard is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional
Speakers, the International Coach Federation, Canadian College
of Health Service Executives and the Hamilton Chapter of the
Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. She is a Registered
Nurse and a member of her local Rotary Club as well as a board
member of the YWCA. She is qualified to use the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator (MBTI) and numerous other instruments including
the DISC.
A
true believer in life-long learning, Dr. Jaggard is a graduate
of Coach University and has been coaching since 1998. Her Masters
Degree is in Organizational Development and her Ph.D. from the
Fielding Graduate Institute is in the area of Human and Organizational
Systems.
